The Diamond Shaped Paperweights are rarely used as actual paperweights, but as stylish accessories which give the impression of luxury and oppulence wherever they are placed. They look especially effective on dark surfaces, such as a black granite hearth or shelf, or they make fantastic table centre pieces. Whether the Glass Diamond Shaped Paperweight sits on it’s own or in a group, it catches the light and looks incredibly stylish.
The Diamond Shaped Paperweight can be engraved as a special gift. Something Divine strongly recommend sand blasting, as it gives a smooth, even finish. However, it is quite specialised and tends to be quite expensive. If you take it to a standard engraver, he may only offer diamond engraving, which is fine, but can fracture the glass. Always ask to see a sample of his engraving onto glass before you go ahead. Something else to consider is how you would like the engraving to look when the Glass Diamond Shaped Paperweight is placed on a surface. Discuss this with the engraver, and ensure that he doesn’t place it square into his engraving machine, or the engraving will lean to one side when the Diamond Paperweight is placed on a surface.
